Our Festival offers a wonderfully atmospheric venue for the afternoon's and evening’s entertainment. Confirmed for the 2010 Festival: Thursday 26th from 7.30pm - Hog Roast and The Fixx - Help us kick start this years festival with a fabulous Hog Roast and a great band called The Fixx. The lads play covers from bands such as Razorlight, The Feeling, The Who, Thin Lizzy, Rainbow, The Kooks, The Eagles, The Beatles, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Wings, The Fratellis, 10cc, U2, The Zutons, and absolutely loads more. Friday 27th from 8.30pm - Road Runner - Blues purists - avert your gaze! Lovers of brilliantly and exuberantly performed gems of blues or pieces pretty much based on blues should love this! This is Steve Rawlings Roadrunner, self proclaimed "Rutlands Greatest R&B Band" we're talking about. Jess & Blind Boy Fuller would approve; and its safe to bet that Bo Diddley, Little Richard and Rufus Thomas would be bopping along and applauding if only the could have been there. This is the FUN side of Rhythm & Blues. Saturday 28th from 2.30pm - Welland Valley Stompers - Relax and soak up the sun (and beer!) with the Stompers. Returning to the Grainstore, after last years successful Saturday afternoon. Jazz at its’ best. Saturday 28th from 8.30pm - Conspiracy - One of the East Midlands ‘premier’ cover bands, Conspiracy are a polished, experienced five piece semi-pro band playing a range of material from various artists.If you want to party the night away Conspiracy recreate the 70’s & 80’s disco era with songs from Barry White, Kool & the Gang, The Four Tops, Billy Ocean up to more recent artists such as Rikki Martin, Robbie Williams and Amy Winehouse. Sunday 29th from 2.30pm - No Fixed Abode - Chill out on a Sunday afternoon,with this great Irish Duo, back by popular demand from last years’ festival. Playing two sets, including Pop classics, Irish and Folk tunes. Sunday 29th from 8.30pm - Soul Sensation - Wow! Back for the third year on the trot. Soul Sensation are a fantastic party band, and have never failed to rock the house. At the 2009 Festival the crowd refused to let them go home!!! Monday 30th from 8.30pm - Sam Kelly - We are extremely proud to be hosting Sam Kelly at this years feastival. Sam's long career covers live gigs, festivals, drum workshops, theatre work and radio and TV sessions, both in the UK and overseas. Sam has been voted into Blues In Britain magazine Gallery of the Greats, as five-times winner of the 'UK Drummer of the Year' award. Over the years Sam has worked with Cyamane, Chaka Khan, Dr John, Ben E. King, Robert Plant, The Foundations, Gordon Haskell, Gary Moore, Billy Ocean, Desmond Dekker, Eddie Floyd, Roger Chapman, Michelle Shocked and Stan Webb, Madeline Bell, Linda Lewis, Carole Grimes, Pauline Black and Hamish Stuart.… to name but a few.
