Phipps NBC - Red Star

3.8% ABV

This is a deep red , nutty 3.8% bitter based on the old NBC recipe, passed on to us by Pat Heron who started at NBC in 1954. Pats father was Head Brewer at NBCs Phoenix Brewery on Bridge Street before him. Red Star is made with the traditional Mild Ale malt variety that was a staple of NBC bitters and milds in the 1950s.

Please note: (1)This item must be collected from the brewery (2) Price includes hire charge for tap, chocks and pegs. (3) A refundable deposit of 50 GBP is also required on each cask, in the form of a cheque at the time of collection.(4) Please order at least 48 hours before required collection time. (5) This product must be allowed to settle for 12-24 hours before drinking.
