We’ve got an amazing Summer season lined up here at The Grainstore Brewery, from new menus to our 18th Annual Rutland Beer Festival over the August bank holiday.

Launching at the beginning of September for a limited run only will be The Grainstore Brewery’s salute to the Rugby World Cup 2015.
There are, sadly, lots of Publicans who have little or no training in handling beer or good cellar practice. This is usually through no fault of their own.
So, whilst trawling through the internet in the dead of night, contemplating the inevitable round of annual price hikes from the major brewers, duty increases from our ‘pro Britain’ government and the general downturn in trade after Christmas, we stumbled across this great Blog post from Beer Nouveau of Manchester, called ‘Costs, Quality and that Elusive Profit’. Blue Monday, as it’s commonly dubbed across the Northern Hemisphere, hits us next week. It’s the Monday in the middle of January, between New Year’s Day and payday when we’re all skint, the weather is rubbish and the Winter is still stretching out before us. But here at The Grainstore Brewery, we’re anything but blue.
Our 5th Annual Cider and Sausage Festival is approaching fast. It promises to be bigger and better than ever before. With great live music and our BBQ every day.
We are very delighted to announce that ‘The Good Pub Guide 2016’ has been published and The Grainstore Brewery has been awarded the title of ‘Own Brew Pub of the Year’.
Now let’s face it, we are all missing a cheeky takeaway or drive through at the moment, so we thought we would give you our take on the classic fried chicken, or GFC as we are going to call it from now on!
