It’s the Monday in the middle of January, between New Year’s Day and payday when we’re all skint, the weather is rubbish and the Winter is still stretching out before us. The Grainstore Brewery in Station Approach, Oakham, and The Rutland Cake Company at Oakham Enterprise Park have developed a number of cakes and bakes which launched at the Rutland Food and Drink Festival on Sunday, October 29th, with one ingredient in common – beer.
