G.B.Best is based on the Golding Hop. It is lighter than other Grainstore beers, possessing a pronounced floral flavour and aroma with a residual sweetness retained from a lower fermentation temperature.
Introduced into our range in late 2012, the name is a play on words. GB (Great Britain) alludes to the Union Jack flag in the background, but is also the initial letters in the name Grainstore Brewery.
Brewed occasionally throughout the year, this beer rarely features on the bar at the Brewery Tap, but is always popular during sporting events and other national celebrations such as St. Georges Day in April.
Available to buy from the Brewery Tap Occasionally: As of a pint as part of our Beer Tasting Paddles, Pints, 4 Pint Jugs to drink in or take away, 10 and 20 Litre Poly Pins, 9 and 11 Gallon Casks.
Allergen Advice: Contains Gluten from Wheat and Barley.
