Fab February Fun

Where: Grainstore Brewery, Oakham
When: Thursday 22nd February, Doors 6.15pm
Price: £10

We have an amazing funhouse comedy show lined up for February!

Headlining will be the returning double Sony Award Winner and Mock the Week Regular, Gary Delaney. Gary is the king of the one-liner! He loves each and every gag and you can’t help but be carried away by his infectious charm. He’s like a cheeky schoolboy who can barely hide his glee with each and every punch line.

Gary’s the only comic ever to have got two gags in the same top 10 for Dave’s TV Funniest Jokes from the Edinburgh Fringe. He’s is currently touring, his last tour was extended four times and took in over 200 venues, he’s the premier gag smith of his generation and through twitter he’s become one of the most followed and quoted comedians in the country.

Opening up will be Justin Moorhouse.  Justin is an accomplished Comedian, actor and Radio presenter from Manchester. He appeared in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, Looking for Eric and Guess The Attendance. Moorhouse has also appeared as a guest the Dave TV series “As yet untitled” with Alan Davies. He is a semi regular guest on Radio 5 Live’s Fighting Talk show hosted by Colin Murray.

Also appearing will be Micky P Kerr. Leeds-based comedian and social commentator, Micky P Kerr is a breath of fresh air on the live comedy circuit. Fusing together music, spoken word and comedy, with his tongue often planted firmly in his cheek, Kerr has been described as the bastard spawn of John Cooper Clarke.

Already a familiar face on the live music circuit, Micky turned his hand to stand-up comedy in 2013 and is rapidly becoming one to watch, proving to be a massive hit with audiences and bookers alike.

In the short time he has been appearing on the comedy circuit he has already reached the semi-finals of both the So You Think You’re Funny and the BBC New Act competitions. He was also recently crowned Harrogate Comedy Festival New Comedian of the Year.

Compere and host for the evening will be James Dowdeswell. Not sure there is anything left to say about James that hasn’t already been said!
