Formed in 1984, Fanx Ta Ra ( named after a Sad Cafe track) played gigs on USA air force bases and in clubs all over the country until finally calling it quits in 1990.
Covering material from Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Level 42 amongst others, the 1980’s was a golden age of music which we are delighted to say is now back in vogue, and after 33 years FTR are also back to bring you the true spirit of that special era !
With a line up of drums, bass, keys, lead guitar, sax, trumpet, lead vocal, and 2 further lead / backing vocals supplied by the musicians, the sound is full and authentic.
From ABC to Simple Minds, from Dexys Midnight Runners to Van Halen it’s a full- on 80 ‘s party !
