Leannan – Craft Festival
Created in a year of lockdown and enforced separation, leannan (Gaelic meaning lovers) allowed a new couple separated by circumstance to reach out to one another. Initially a way of nurturing a new relationship it quickly grew in to a real musical appreciation. Their Album and songs originally created just for family and friends, stand as a defiant unwillingness to let physical distance create emotional distance. At the other side of lockdown Leannan has used the space wisely. Writing and appearing on BBC Leicestershire radio and a string of other stations locally. Building great relationships with venues and enjoying well received performances where ever they play.
