The Grainstore Brewery Tap, voted, The Good Pub Guides ‘Own Brew Pub of the Year 2003, 2011, 2014 and now 2016’ is now recruiting.

We are very delighted to announce that ‘The Good Pub Guide 2016’ has been published and The Grainstore Brewery has been awarded the title of ‘Own Brew Pub of the Year’.

So, whilst trawling through the internet in the dead of night, contemplating the inevitable round of annual price hikes from the major brewers, duty increases from our ‘pro Britain’ government and the general downturn in trade after Christmas, we stumbled across this great Blog post from Beer Nouveau of Manchester, called ‘Costs, Quality and that Elusive Profit’. So worthy is it of a read, that we thought we would copy it to our own Blog too, with full credit being given to it’s original author Steve.
This August Bank Holiday the Grainstore Brewery will be hosting the 16th Annual Rutland Beer Festival.
On Tuesday 5th January, The Grainstore Brewery will feature in an hour long, opening episode on BBC 2 at 8pm, of a new TV series ‘Victorian Bakers’.
The Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) is launching its ‘Manifesto for British Beer’ today (9 March), calling on prospective parliamentary candidates (PPCs) to pledge their backing for the thriving local brewing sector and the thousands of jobs it supports.
