Dare to Think, based in Uppingham in Rutland launches New Grainstore Brewery Website
The Grainstore Brewery has today launched it’s own keg lager, ‘Purus 4’.
At The Grainstore Brewery, we pride ourselves on brewing our ales the traditional way and as such, we’re always in touch with the seasons.
There are, sadly, lots of Publicans who have little or no training in handling beer or good cellar practice. This is usually through no fault of their own.
Finally after many months of preparing and many years in the asking, we have launched our ‘Gold’ in bottle.
Immediately following this years 17th Annual Beer Festival, the Grainstore Brewery Tap will be closed for three days, from Tuesday 30th August then reopening at 3.30pm on Firday 2nd September 2016.
So, whilst trawling through the internet in the dead of night, contemplating the inevitable round of annual price hikes from the major brewers, duty increases from our ‘pro Britain’ government and the general downturn in trade after Christmas, we stumbled across this great Blog post from Beer Nouveau of Manchester, called ‘Costs, Quality and that Elusive Profit’. So worthy is it of a read, that we thought we would copy it to our own Blog too, with full credit being given to it’s original author Steve.
We’ve got an amazing Summer season lined up here at The Grainstore Brewery, from new menus to our 18th Annual Rutland Beer Festival over the August bank holiday.
Tuesday night is now ‘Build Your Own Burger’ night. Post a picture of your creation to our Facebook/Twitter/Instagram pages to be in with a chance to win great prizes each week.
The Grainstore Brewery Tap, voted, The Good Pub Guides ‘Own Brew Pub of the Year 2003, 2011, 2014 and now 2016’ is now recruiting.
The winners of the National Pub & Bar Awards for 2016 have been announced and we are delighted to let everyone know that we have been selected a the winners for Rutland!
