Your tour of the brewery will last approximately one and a half hours. Your day starts with a welcome on arrival from your tour host, followed by the guided tour, lasting approximately one to one and a quarter hours and takes you through the brewing process of Grainstore Beers, from seeing the raw ingredients to the finished product, taking in the Copper, Mash Tun and fermentation system.
After the tour you are invited to sample our flagship Ten Fifty, Cooking and Triple B ales, which can also be bought from our brewery tap after your tour as single bottles, or in gift packs.
If you have chosen the option of staying and enjoying a meal after your tour, we are happy to present you with a delicious Ploughman’s Lunch or Supper, incorporating our famous local Pork Pie, cheeses, real ale chutney made on the premises and bread baked using our yeast, all washed down with a pint of our fine Real Ale.

Unfortunately, due to the nature and layout of our Brewery, there is limited access to certain areas which may not be suitable for all. We do all that we can to ensure that you enjoy your time with us. We do ask that you wear suitable footwear and clothing. To allow us to operate safely and adhere to current government guidelines we have introduced the following measures to ensure your safety and that of our staff and tour guide:
a) We have reduced capacity from 25 to 6 visitors to comply with the ‘Rule of six’ b) We are asking all visitors to wear face coverings during the duration of their visit, with the exception of when seated in the Brewery Tap for tastings and food service. Our guide will wearing a face covering at all times too c) We are asking each group of visitors to maintain a distance of 1 metre from each other when moving around the brewery (as well as wearing their face coverings) d) Each area of the brewery is equipped with hand sanitizer, so please use this as you move around from room to room e) At certain points during the tour we will offer you the opportunity to taste, smell and touch some of the ingredients. These will be offered individually to each guest using separate implements and each one will only be used once before being disposed of f) We are limiting tours to one per day to enable the brewery to be effectively cleansed and to twice a week to allow sufficient time between tours.
